**JOB DESCRIPTION**:
Redfern Legal Centre is seeking a Solicitor for our Credit, Debt & Consumer Law to provide legal advice and assistance to clients experiencing disadvantage in Redfern Legal Centre’s local catchment, which includes over 40 suburbs.

The Credit, Debt & Consumer Law Service provides legal advice and assistance to clients experiencing disadvantage in Redfern Legal Centre’s local catchment, which includes over 40 suburbs. The practice also engages in law reform and policy work to effect systemic change and community legal education to build capacity for communities and marginalised people. Appointments are a mixture of telephone and face-to-face.

The Generalist practice provides advice in a range of different civil areas of law, with a focus on trauma informed legal advice to clients with increased levels of vulnerability. Generalist appointments are a mixture of face-to-face and telephone, and the schedule allows for clients that drop in.

Redfern Legal Centre offers flexible working conditions and supports wellbeing.
