**Your New Opportunity**:
We are seeking our next **Operations Manager** to partner with the State Manager with developing the ResourceCo Material Solutions (RMS) business unit in **New South Wales**. They will be assisting with delivering the required outcomes from a WHSE (including NVHL, CoR, and environmental compliance), sales, operations, and financial perspective.

**Responsibilities will include but not limited to**:

- Effective implementation of group systems in Transport, OH&S, Environmental and Contractor Management areas managing to best practice
- Lead and develop the Transport and Operations teams in NSW to be high performing, demonstrating our core values of Committed, Sustainable, Agile and Creative
- Work closely with the State Manager to implement a sustainable NSW Transport business that is structured to support customer requirements and maintain profitability
- Work closely with colleagues in Business Development to secure new projects and grow our customers base with high quality service delivery standards
- Establish subcontractor recruitment and retention strategies to support growth initiatives
- Identify and manage key risks to business performance across both the Transport and Operations divisions
- Lead from the front in a hands-on manner with positive engagement will all employees in the business
- Deliver excellent customer service to the business’s customers and work collaboratively across the ResourceCo groups five pillars of Material Solutions, Recycling and Waste, Waste to Energy, Tyre Recycling and Shared Services

**About you**:

- Tertiary education in relevant field and experience working in the Construction, Waste or relevant industry will be well regarded but not essential
- Strong people leader qualities including strong interpersonal, communication and negotiation skills
- Implementing ResourceCo Values (Sustainable, Committed, Creative and Agile) into day-to-day practice
- Possess a strong customer service attitude with a willingness to perform all functions in a manner to achieve this end.
- Sound understanding of basic costing and financial reporting, e.g. balance sheet and board reports.
- Strong computer skills
