(i) Ensure premises are cleaned according to specifications and client’s satisfaction.
Ensure there are enough supplies on hand, and ensure all equipment is in good working order.

**Legal and Regulatory Responsibilities**:
**(i)**

**Primary Responsibilities**:
(i) Maintaining a high standard of cleaning for the tasks given

(ii) Following the instructions given by the Site Supervisor / Leading Hand
(iii) Working in a manner that does not disrupt the customer or the customer’s patrons
(iv) Completing the tasks outlined in the Site Quality Plan for which he/she is responsible
(v) Initiate, recommend or provide solutions through designated change

(vi) Identify when stocks are low and advise Site Supervisor / Leading Hand to order supplies

(vii) Check equipment daily and report any faults to the Site Supervisor / Leading
Hand

(viii) Any other responsibility as defined in the company’s Management System
(ix) Quality, Environment and WHS Responsibilities:

- Identifying and raising safety concerns through the hazard register as required
- Identifying and reporting any incidents/accidents in the workplace
- Working in a safe manner as designated in workplace procedures
- Identify and record any problems relating to the product, process, quality, environment and WHS system

**Australian Award Scope**

**Cleaning Services Employee Level Two** (CSE 2) is an employee who at the completion of training is capable of performing work within the scope of this level. Such an employee performs work above and beyond the skills of an employee at CSE 1 level and:
(i) works from complex instructions and procedures;
(ii) assists in the provision of on-the-job training;
(iii) works under general supervision either individually or in a team;
(iv) is responsible for assuring the quality of their own work; and
(v) performs those tasks customarily performed by cleaners.

A CSE 2 may be required to perform any duties of a CSE 1 and, in addition, performs any of the following indicative tasks or a combination of such tasks, for the greater part of each day or shift:
(i) routine repair work and/or building maintenance (of a non-trade nature) in or about the facility;
(ii) ordering and distribution of toilet and other requisites and cleaning materials;
(iii) customer or public relations duties as required;
(iv) carrying out those roles expected of a leading hand;
(v) carpet cleaning;
(vi) cleaning windows on the exterior of multi-storied buildings from swing scaffolds, boatswain’s chairs, hydraulic bucket trucks or similar devices;
(vii) operating ride-on powered machinery;
(viii) operating steam cleaning and pressure washing equipment;
(ix) maintaining gardens, lawns and rockeries;
(x) trimming edges, mowing lawns, sowing, planting, watering, weeding, spreading fertiliser, clearing shrubs and trimming hedges;
(xi) vehicular rubbish collection and operating mobile compaction units; and
(xii) specialist computer cleaning.

**Performance Review and Training**:
Annual performance review by Area Manager

Review to include:

- Projected performance against actual performance.
- New initiatives.
- Meeting of legal and regulatory requirements.
- Performance targets for the next year.
- Planned performance improvements (as necessary)
- Training needs and plans for training over the next year.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Subcontract, Casual

**Salary**: $22.00 - $35.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 - 60 per week
