We have an exciting opportunity available for energetic and passionate individuals to become Retail Sales Assistants in our busy Panthers Rugby League Merchandise store. You will be an exceptional team player with a welcoming smile and will thrive to make sure our customers are the number one priority. You will actively promote Panthers Rugby League Merchandise and assist customers with their purchases. You will engage customers with your enthusiasm and passion for your products, and will maintain high levels of customer service at all times.

**Sales Assistants will enjoy various duties including but not limited to**:

- Providing excellent customer service to our customers;
- Meeting daily sales targets and upselling where possible;
- Use safe manual handling techniques to assist where needed;
- Selling merchandise, cash handling and processing transactions through the register;
- Assisting with general customer enquiries and online orders;
- Processing Rugby League memberships;
- Maintaining store presentation and;
- General shop and cleaning duties.
- Outstanding communication and customer service skills;
- At least 1-2 years’ experience in a customer service position preferably in the retail industry;
- A history of accurate cash handling is essential;
- Ability to provide accurate service in a timely manner to customers;
- Possess strong attention to detail and;
- Ability and initiative to work efficiently and pro-actively, either autonomously or in a team.

You will have a positive, outgoing and energetic approach to work and be exceptionally well groomed at all times. **You will need to be available to work as required including nights, weekends, public holidays and Panthers home games.**
