The role

As an Electrical Trainer within the Infrastructure division, you’ll be a trusted advisor for the Infrastructure team by reviewing, managing and delivering training for the Passenger Sliding Doors as part of the Metro Tunnel, to the relevant departments to ensure employee capability and compliance with internal and external regulations.Your key focus will be to ensure the training material and delivery of training is accurate, relevant and engaging. You will need to be inherently approachable and consultative in your manner of work in order to set up the team for success.

Role responsibilties
- Support the development of training and assessment material for the implementation of the Passenger Sliding Doors
- Review feedback on content and delivery format to identify opportunities for refinement and continuous improvement
- Deliver the developed training material to meet initial and reassessment training requirements for the Passenger Sliding Doors
- Implement maintenance work and installation instructions, including the coordination of the full training cycle and analysis of training needs
- Working closely with internal stakeholders to ensure training requirements are met for a diverse multi-skilled work group
- Manage the implementation and reporting on all training and assessment processes and activities
- Assess learners in line with business policy and procedures as well as Victorian Traction Industry Electrical Safety Rules

Your experience and qualifications
- Certificate III in Electrotechnology Electrician and current A-Grade license with Energy Safe Victoria
- Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40122) or equivalent
- Experience working in a similar role, developing and delivering Electrical related content is preferred
- Proven experience in auditing operational personnel in the effective delivery and safe performance of their duties
- Sound computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to identify, design and facilitate learning programs and assessment strategies
- Ability to schedule work priorities to ensure deadlines are achieved
- Approachable and an expert in stakeholder engagement at all levels of management and staff
