Do you love food? Do you enjoy working in a hands-on and active environment? To be considered for our next Dishwash Co-worker position, we need you to have:
- A passion for working with food and enriching the customer experience with a focus on operational support
- A ‘Togetherness’ mindset where you’ll work closely with your team and other departments yet also be able to work independently.
- An energetic approach as this department can become extremely busy and physically demanding.
- Ability to prioritise tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- A safe mindset and being comfortable with physical work and manual handling including repetitive heavy lifting.
- You must be comfortable standing and working at the sink, as this is where your main duties will preside.
**Your responsibilities**
As a Dish room Co-worker your responsibilities will be, but are not limited to:
- Operating the industrial dishwashing machine and sorting cutlery.
- You will maintain much of your time working between pot wash and dish wash, where you will be washing and cleaning commercial cooking pots, utensils & equipment.
- Ensuring the customer restaurant is always presentable.
- Complying with strict IKEA Food and HACCP policies and daily operational routines around quality and food safety, including temperature and date checks.
- Supporting other areas of IKEA Food where needed to ensure annual goals and targets are achieved.
**Together as a team**
A key role of the Food Operations team is to serve our customers ensuring they have a positive experience in our store to give our visitors a taste reason to return. Together we strive to deliver a prime dining experience for the customer shopping journey and ensure our shoppers and their stomachs are truly satisfied.

This opportunity is Permanent, Part-Time 40hrs/Fortnight.
