Your care, passion and organisational skills will see you as a leader promoting health and wellbeing through house connection and coordination of whole and inter-house events.The Head of Department - Student Services (locally known as House Master) position requires commitment to our vision to Exceed your Expectations and values. You will have the ability to make informed decisions quickly and effectively, have good knowledge of school policies and procedures and be innovative in your thinking. You will work collaboratively within the student support team to develop strategies for monitoring and supporting student attendance, including supporting students who may have difficulty engaging by being a key person in their schooling experience and helping them to flourish.

**About the Role**:
**The Head of Department, Student Services will**:

- focus on initiatives to support the educational outcomes for students
- incorporate the vision of State Schools Division into school planning
- develop the quality of teaching and learning
- nurture positive relationships between students, teachers and community.

The Head of Department is accountable to and under the direction of the school Principal or delegate.
