**About Us**

Zinfra partners with companies across the utility and infrastructure sectors to deliver maintenance, operations, engineering, and construction services. For our partners our work is crucial to maintaining the safety and reliability of their electricity and gas transmission and distribution assets.

**About the role**

The Asset Inspector role is responsible for collecting technical and hands on data relating to asset inspection of electrical assets (poles, and wires) in the Distribution networks, based out of our Keysborough depot.

**Key Responsibilities include**
- Execute all works allied with asset inspection programs within timeframes, to budget and in a safe manner as engaged.
- Proficient in the use of digital equipment and software. (digital camera, phone, tablet)
- Safeguarding the upkeep of vehicles, plant and materials by ensuring they are maintained and uphold a generally good working order.
- Deliver timely reporting as required on the progress of projects, quality standards and work practices as required to both management and its customers (includes taking photos of defects and structure and system updates).
- Actively participate in and be accountable for personal and team members health, safety and general wellbeing.
- Developing and sustaining favourable customer relations.
- Enthusiastically participate in all company authorized training programs.

**About You**

We are looking for someone with previous experience working in outdoor environment in all-weather conditions and that holds a current Australian drivers licence.
- Demonstrated ability to work with mínimal supervision and to adapt to changing environments and working conditions
- Ability to reach and control loads above shoulder height and undertake manual labour tasks as part of the inspection process
- Ability to work with key internal customers and suppliers across all levels
- Sufficient operational hands-on experience in area of expertise to build and maintain credibility across stakeholder groups
- Demonstrated accountability and responsibility for outcomes

At the end of the program, the successful Trainee will have completed all competencies for a Cert II Asset Inspector. This will be offered as a twelve-month fixed term and program, after successful completion of the training with the provision of being offered full time employment.
