Subdivisions Officer

Salary: $68,492 - $76,987 p.a. plus 10.5% Super

**About the role**
This is a
**permanent**,
**full-time**, Monday to Friday 7.00am to 3.00pm position working
**35 hours** per week. Located at the Nowra Administration Building.

**Duties**
Reporting directly to the Development Engineer, the focus of this position is to:

- Carry out site inspections for road and drainage works and landscaping undertaken by contractors for subdivisions and developments within the City of Shoalhaven.
- Generate internal correspondence relating to works, memos, release of bond monies.
- Maintain accurate progress records of subdivision and development civil works.
- Communicate in writing, verbally and face-to-face with contractors, consultants and owners of developments where necessary.

**Skills & Experience**
In order to be successful in the position, you will be/ possess:

- Certificate IV in Civil Construction, or equivalent qualification or experience
- Current SafeWork NSW white card (general construction induction card)
- Current SafeWork NSW Prepare a work zone traffic management plan (PWZ) card (or willingness to obtain)
- Extensive experience in construction of civil construction including road and stormwater drainage works
- Class C Driver’s Licence
- Confined Spaces Certificate (or willingness to obtain)
- Proof of Australian residency or citizenship, or authority to work in Australia (visa)
