Flinch Coffee & Play is a vibrant cafe known for its innovative Japanese-inspired cuisine and specialty coffee drinks. We are seeking an experienced, passionate barista to join our team and deliver exceptional service to our customers.

**Responsibilities**:

- Prepare high-quality espresso-based beverages like cappuccinos and lattes, using full cream and alternative milks
- Craft signature drinks such as matcha, frappes, and mocktails
- Operate professional machines including Ubermilk, Gaza grinders and Tone Touch 3
- Maintain a clean and organised workspace behind the coffee bar
- Provide friendly and attentive customer service
- Develop knowledge of Flinch's unique coffee and tea offerings
- Assist with stocking, inventory, and other cafe duties as needed

Qualifications:

- Minimum 1 year experience as a barista or barista training
- Strong skills in espresso machine operation and milk steaming
- Ability to multi-task and work efficiently during busy periods
- Passion for exceptional coffee and customer service
- Knowledge of coffee and tea varieties an asset
- Positive attitude and excellent communication skills
- Availability to work weekends is required

**Job Type**: Casual

Pay: $30.00 - $36.00 per hour

Expected hours: 10 - 15 per week
