About the role

Reporting to the Head of Commercial Strategy & Analytics, the Profitability & Insights Manager

will be accountable for performing analytical activities across the TGE’s BUs to manage the profitability customers, including reporting on this across various dimensions and providing insights to sales, operations and executives on key trends and improvement initiatives to drive profitable growth. The role will also lead the continuous development of our profitability models and associated tools to better leverage profitability and yield analytics across the business.

Primary Duties & Responsibilities
- Analyse and identify root cause of unprofitable customers and devise strategic initiatives to drive a turnaround.
- Work with a range of functions across the business including sales, operations, finance, and business intelligence and external vendors to build new profitability models for the business.
- Use profitability models and data to develop reporting frameworks to provide insight into and to drive more value including Customer Lifetime Value and RFM customer segmentation.
- Ownership of the profitability models, including allocation methodologies, data inputs and continuous enhancements.
- Produce regular presentations for sales, operations and executives to summarise profitability of each BU.
- Create and maintain dashboards to provide deep insights into customer profitability, with trends and key drivers.
- Ensure regular communication with other Pricing & Analytics team members and their key stakeholders to ensure a consistent and profitable overall pricing approach.
- Work collaboratively across the Sales and Operations community to optimise the profitability of all contracts.
- Manage a team of 2 commercial analysts.

About you

- 8+ years of experience in commercial finance and pricing with a background in the logistics industry preferred.
