**The opportunity**:
Leading the inventory and purchasing functions to ensure production is supplied with quality product that meets specification, in accordance with their needs (in full, on time), whilst continually striving to reduce costs.

The cross functional collaborative individual will be hands on and work independently and as part of a team. The role will be responsible for forecasting demand, sourcing and managing suppliers, managing inventory levels and ensuring timely delivery of goods.

**What you will do**:

- Lead and coordinate all site purchasing and inventory activities, developing staff and ensuring all activities are performed to the necessary operational and quality standards.
- Monitor inventory levels and implement inventory control measures to ensure accuracy and reduce waste.
- Responsible for capacity planning and managing storage utilization between warehouses. Future planning for warehousing requirements and identifying any capacity challenges.
- Oversee the receipt, storage, and dispatch of inventory at our local warehouse and all 3PL sites and ensure maximum efficiency and accuracy.
- Work with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of goods, manage lead times, and mitigate any supply chain disruption.
- Ensuring compliance of all activities by staff and contractors with OH&S requirements and ensure compliance with State Health regulations.

**What we are looking for**:

- Previous experience leading and developing a team.
- 3+ years of experience in demand planning, supply planning, and procurement
- Proficient in Excel, Access, data analysis, and forecasting tools
- Experience in Logistics advantageous
