As a Product Specialist in Financial Services, you will be responsible for the end-to-end product lifecycle management of the Financial Services Portfolio for Jetstar Airways and Jetstar Branded Airlines, including but not limited to co-brand credit cards, travel insurance, fees, and Flex products/FareCredit. You will drive growth in revenue and overall profitability of this portfolio through the identification of new product opportunities and enhancement of existing or underperforming products.
The core responsibilities of this role will be:
- Support the execution of the digital development roadmap for this portfolio, and develop promotional, campaign, and customer experience activities
- Developing and executing promotional, campaign, and customer experience activities
- Executing the product roadmap and be an advocate of the value proposition across the organisation
- Monitoring and reporting on the product performance
- Identify business opportunities through market analysis and knowledge
- Facilitation of product workshops to educate stakeholders and build compelling product services and features
- Internal and external cross border partner relationship management
- Supporting marketing team with promotional/campaign execution
- Writing and proofreading creative copy
- Maintaining website and digital content
- Driving product awareness and engagement
- Analysing potential strategic partner relationships
To be considered, key skills will include:
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, marketing, business management or related field (highly desirable)
- Experience in product management and stakeholder management
- At least 2 years Financial Services or Product Management/Insurance background preferred
- Credit card and/or payments experience is highly desirable
- Insurance experience is highly desirable
- Experience with Agile methodology
- PowerBI and SQL experience highly advantageous
- Strong knowledge of MS Office software as well as ability to learn Jetstar standard software packages
- Well-developed numerical, analytical and computer skills
