Rosebery is an underground polymetallic base metal mine located in the township of Rosebery in Tasmania, Australia and is 100% owned by MMG Limited.

With continuous production since 1936 Rosebery mine has current potential to extend life beyond 2028. This underground mine has continually attracted and produced world class professionals. The operation continues to deliver excellent operational performance and employs over 500 employees and contractors who reside in the local region.

**Remote Loader Operator**

We are currently recruiting for an underground **Remote Loader Operator**

This position operates loaders through MineGem remote to ensure continuous mining operation in high risk areas. On a shift to shift basis you will be responsible for:

- Operating of loader through MineGem remote automation in production stopes and for backfilling using loose rock or CRF.
- Interpretation of available data, digital representations and equipment to operate loader safely in remote.
- Following mine plans.
- Conducting pre-start checks of rig and ensuring work area is safe.
- Setting up the MineGem infrastructure.
- Recording of all salient information and reporting such to the cross shift and engineers.
- Have a basic understanding of the mine gem system and be able to trouble shoot the intermittent problems that may occur.
- Demonstrate a high degree of vigilance in risk management.

**Qualifications, competencies & skills**
- Previous experience working as an underground longhole driller (Epiroc Simba experience preferred).
- Previous experience working as a cable bolt operator (Epiroc or Sandvik cable bolt experience preferred).
- Previous experience working as an underground longhole driller (Caterpillar MineGem experience preferred).
- Extensive knowledge off underground mining equipment and techniques.
- A commitment to safe work practices.
- A willingness to work collaboratively as a team and support the company values.
- Strong communication skills including written.
