**THE APPRENTICESHIP**

MIGAS is proud to be partnering with TVH is a leading manufacturer of Material handling (forklifts), industrial vehicles parts and accessories based in the South-West of Brisbane at **Richlands.**

We are currently seeking a motivated and skilled Boilermaker Apprentice to join TVH’s team. TVH have successfully supported apprentices reach their full potential in a supportive environment who continue to thrive as qualified tradespeople with the (**MEM30319)** **Certificate III in Engineering - Fabrication (Boilermaking/Welding) **qualification.

You will be taught by experienced tradespeople how to MIG weld and progress during the four year apprentice to assemble, repair, and construct various forklift attachments. The skills and experience you pick up will make you readily employable and MIGAS will provide you support to get there.

**Your Responsibilities will include**:

- Assisting in the fabrication and repair of metal structures and components
- Performing welding and brazing operations according to established procedures
- Reading and interpreting technical drawings and blueprints
- Adhering to all safety protocols and regulations

**Your will learn in the role**:

- Expertise in welding and metal fabrication
- The ability to read and interpret technical drawings
- Excellent attention to detail
- How to work in a team environment

**You need to be**:

- Respectful
- Excellent communication skills
- Mechanical aptitude, attention to detail and an understanding of tools
- Punctual and reliable
- Safety conscious
- Willing to work, listen and learn
- Reliable vehicle and current drivers licence
- Fully Vaccinated for COVID 19 preferred
- Able to pass random drug and alcohol testing onsite
