**About Our Client**
Our client has been importing premium, high-quality tools, and equipment from around the world and selling them to stonemasons and residential customers across Australia for 35 years. Not only do they sell tools and equipment, but this business also provides a range of quality natural stone and high-end industrial machinery.
They are an industry leader whose success has in part been due to supporting and training people from outside the industry and developing their knowledge and career within the company. They are now looking to bring on their next Sales Assistant in their Moorebank trade centre.

**About You**
- While you may not know much about diamond blades or the stone industry, you are looking to develop a career that involves customer service. While you've enjoyed your time in the warehouse, you're looking for a role where you can expand your skillset.
- You are excited by the prospect of becoming a technical expert in a niche product. In the past, you have always been proactive when learning all there is to know about the products you have been pick packing or shipping out to customers.
**About the Role**
Reporting to the State Sales Manager and working closely with the wider sales team, you’ll add significant value by:
- Having conversations with stonemasons, builders, and tradespeople to find out what projects they’re working on and discussing the features, benefits, and uses of stone-grinding, cutting, and polishing tools both in the showroom and on the phone.
- Assisting the Sales Representatives (who are out on the road) by following up on quotes, invoices, and product requirements from customers who have called or enquired about their order.
- Keeping up to date with the latest product range and industry trends to help better inform customers through research and participating in team meetings to understand the wider picture.
- Investigating stock levels in the showroom and warehouse to create innovative and strategic plans on selling slow-moving stock.
