- Two contracts, one commencing ASAP for 2 months and January for 6 months.
- Project Officer commencing ASAP paying $38 PH + Sup and running until Friday 23rd February 2023.
- Project Officer **(Civil Asset Maintenance) **commencing Monday 8th January 2023 until Monday 8th July 2023 paying $55 PH + Sup.
- Located in Western Sydney onsite 5 days per week.

**The Opportunities**

**Project Officer 2 months**
- Must hold a C Class Driver’s license and a car, car allowance provided.
- Coordinate assigned Council projects from inception to completion.
- Coordinate all parties involved in these projects including designers, suppliers, utilities, contractors, consultants, and internal project partners to achieve the functional, time and cost objectives of the projects.
- Delivery of assigned projects from design stage to completion including stakeholder consultation and liaison with associated government departments.
- Report regularly to the Project Manager and other relevant managers and stakeholders.
- Make informed decisions regarding the preparation of project budgets, and other management information, practices and procedures on a day-to-day basis.
- Make informed decisions on tender and contract issues that will deliver quality projects and value for money.
- Attend regular project meeting/s with project partners and assist with the implementation of the required procurement and scheduling process.

**Project Officer**
**(Civil Asset Maintenance) 6 months**
- Daily inspection of work completed by contractors engaged in maintaining and restoring the civil asset work program.
- Assist in interviews for permanent and casual staff and induct new staff
- Complete customer request investigations, organise the completion of works, if required, and upload completion reports
- Carry out compliance inspections of vehicular crossings, asset restorations and the Works Improvement Program
- Carry out cost estimates and manage work order processes, including the inspection of work completed by contractors,
- Manage contractor disputes seeking to resolve disputes or referring to the next level Supervisor and ensure contractors use a plant that is registered for National Heavy Vehicle Compliance
- Complete processing of invoices including reviewing and authorising release of funds
- Answer telephone inquiries from customers and inspect and investigate complaints from customers.
- Carry out site inductions and workplace inspections with contractors when required.
- Conduct toolbox talks with contractors and work crews to assist in the review and update of work instructions
- Review and update safety data sheets and safety registers for the plant, lifting equipment, fire services, hazardous materials, and chemical storage on a regular basis
