Horticulturalist

We are looking for an experienced and qualified horticulturalist to join our team at a small but vibrant and busy retail nursery. Nillumbik Nursery stocks a diverse range of plants and aims inspire gardeners to contribute to a healthy, sustainable and biodiverse planet.

We are looking for someone reliable, self-motivated and knowledgeable about a range of plants. Knowledge in key areas of plant I.D and integrated pest management would be a great advantage. Customer service is an essential part of the role - you would need to provide advice about plant selection, disease control and more to customers on busy days.

We require a minimum of a Cert 4 level qualification plus experience. Availability on Sundays (ideally every Sunday but we may consider alternate Sundays) is essential, another day of work can be mutually agreed upon.

**Job Type**: Part-time

**Salary**: $26.00 - $39.00 per hour

Expected hours: 7 - 14 per week
