Academic Manager
**Responsibilities**:
- Manage and update academic program to meet curriculum goal
- Supervise and manage content
- Plan, create and oversee the content production and training materials
- Manage Moodle
- Brainstorm and collaborate with team for new ideas and content strategies
- Create schedule and calendar plans for content releases and updates based on ASQA requirements
- Monitor, track, and document content results; analyse data/returns/student’s response
- Monitor student academic progress and provide guidance to students
- Support and assist on college operations
- Overseas administrative functions of trainers and assessors
- In coordination with college Director of Studies works on trainer skills Matrix outlining VET qualifications and competencies.
- Participate in recruitment, selection and induction process
- Provides trainers and assessors with academic support and manages professional development training in consultation with the Director of Studies.
- Maintains and manages moderation and validation processes which include Industry consultation
- A team player with strong organisation skills
- Sound knowledge of the VET sector
- Well developed written and verbal communication skills
- Excellence in trainers and clients focus
Desirable, but not essential:
- Certificate IV in Training & Assessments (TAE40116) or higher or TAE40110 along with TAEASS502 and TAELLN401 units
- Previous experience in a classroom-based training & assessment.
