Workshop Maintanence and Cleaner

THE COMPANY:
Amtek is Australia’s premier specialised vehicle conversion company based in Moorebank.

With over 180 employees in our Moorebank location, we are an Australian owned business, well trusted by our clients since 2013.

We work on a range of government Emergency service vehicles, fitting new vehicles and decommissioning. This is a fast-paced environment with plenty of work to do whilst working with a great team.
- **The Position**_

To oversee the upkeep of the Company’s facilities, to ensure that Company workspaces and resources are kept in a safe, presentable and in an accessible manner. To ensure that the Company facilities are well cared for and adequate to support the Company’s operations and production.

**Forklift licence required.**
- **Main Duties and Responsibilities**:_
- General Housekeeping of the workshop and company site (including car park).
- Tasks will include garbage disposal (e.g metal bins, boxes etc) cleaning of facilities and amenities when required.
- Maintain a tidy and safe workspace for all staff.
- Ensuring Skip Bins are full for collection, and notifying Operations Manager if additional collection is required.
- Notifying Operations Manager of any repairs and maintenance required of Company property and/ or resources.
- Forklift use and assisting other divisions as needed
- Any other tasks as required. You will need to be flexible with task requirements.
- Adhere to Company Policy and Procedures.
- **Skills Required to be successful in this position**_
- Current forklift license and experience required.
- General Knowledge of cleaning and WH&S requirements.
- Flexible and adaptable attitude to work, willing to work a variety of tasks
- Good communication skills
- Can work independently and as a team
- instructions. Ability to manage problems involving a few defined variables in regular situations.
- 'Can do' atitufde and willing to go that extra mile

Immediate start available.

Pay: From $28.00 per hour

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday

Supplementary Pay:

- Overtime pay

**Experience**:

- Warehouse cleaning: 3 years (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- So you have a current Forklift licence? (required)
