About the role
The purpose of this role is to assist in the delivery of an efficient and timely medical imaging service through:

- Assisting with patient preparation
- Assisting with maintaining cleanliness and organisation of the examination room
- Liaise with staff in wards and Medical Imaging to coordinate examination times and transport requirements for patients
- Escort patients to and from examination rooms and assist with patient transfer
- Maintain required stocks of consumable items in clinical areas
- Undertake clerical duties as required
- Develop and maintain proficiency with relevant information systems
- Attend departmental staff meeting and participate in orientation, performance reviews, skill development programs and quality assurance activities
- Perform other duties as directed by the Director of Medical Imaging Services
