**The Opportunity**

We are seeking a Support System Modelling and Optimisation Analyst to support the RAAF E-7A Wedgetail Program. A derivative of the Boeing 737, the E-7A Wedgetail Airborne Early Warning and Control platform is the centerpiece of Australia's national air defence capability, incorporating powerful airborne surveillance, communications and battle management capability. The role will be based at RAAF Base Williamtown, NSW.

**Responsibilities**
- Provide support to constructing initial spares models and performing logistics simulations.
- Analyse, interrogate and verify data to ensure accurate modelling results.
- Collate analysis results and provide recommendations for presenting to various stakeholders.
- Researching and evaluating engineering and technical source data and specifications to help establish initial support systems and evaluate designs for achievement of supportability requirements.
- Forecast risks to system availability, impacts and provide mitigation plans to proactively manage.

**Experience/Qualifications**
- Experience in conducting system modelling/analysis, spares analysis, Life Cycle Cost Analysis, operational analysis or other related logistics engineering/support standards is highly desirable.
- Familiarity or experience with Defence logistics data sources (MILIS, CAMM2/NetMAARS, eMRD) highly desirable but not essential.
- Strong data manipulation and analytical skills (cleaning and preparation)
