PLEASE NOTE: This position is 2 - 3 shifts per week with the opportunity for more.

We are closed from the 24th December - 9th of January so the successful applicant would start traininf from the 9th of January.

**Responsibilities**:

- Must love dogs
- Clean up pee, poop, vomit, and other miscellaneous things caused by animals.
- Monitor dogs behaviour constantly and solve issues as they arise
- Clean all equipment, toys, dishes, suites, floors, etc. Cleaning is a big part of what we do.
- Use common sense to solve problems as it relates to dogs in our care.
- Understand and learn about canine body language and how to make the dogs comfortable in meeting you and having you lead them into our facility.
- Dogs will jump on you, bump into you, etc. so you must not have any physical limitations or issues that could be aggravated by this type of work.
- We love to have fun and take our job of caring for people’s pets seriously. Safety and security are a priority while enjoying all we do. We are a team and communication is key in keeping the operations going.
- Must have basic customer service skills and be able to follow our safety protocols.

**Job Types**: Part-time, Casual
Part-time hours: 15 per week

**Salary**: $23.00 - $28.00 per hour

Schedule:

- Afternoon shift
- Morning shift
- No weekends

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Burwood, VIC 3125: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (preferred)

**Experience**:

- Dog Handling: 1 year (preferred)

Work Authorisation:

- Australia (preferred)
