**Food & Beverage Utility**:

**Ventia **are currently looking to engage a **Food & Beverage Utility** worker to support our Defence Base Services Contract. Reporting to the Food & Beverage Manager, this position will see you ensure that the Mess Hall operates smoothly. You will be performing a range of duties such as taking orders, cash handling, serving food and drinks, cleaning tables, helping prepare food and tidy up the kitchen / Mess areas.
- To be considered for this position, you must be an Australian Citizen and willing to undergo a police check._

**Key duties, but not limited to**:

- Clean, sanitise and maintain equipment, and furniture
- Wash crockery, cutlery and glassware after each service period
- Support stock management initiatives, including stock rotation, review of labels and used by dates, and unloading supplies
- Examine all Mess signage and notice boards daily to ensuring current information is displayed
- Participate in team meetings and toolbox talks, and offer suggestions for improvement to operations
- Undertake any other reasonable duties as requested by the Food & Beverage Supervisor

**Requirements**:

- Must be an Australian Citizen
- Current Driver’s License
- RSA - Responsible Service of Alcohol
- Experience in a Food & Beverage or Hospitality role - Highly desirable
- Ability to work Autonomously, as well as in a small team in a complex and everchanging environment
- Able to Pass a Pre-employment medical including a Drug and Alcohol screen
