This role is based within our Finance Team, Operations Division a central and trusted source for all financial guidance and services at UNSW.

**The Opportunity**
The Finance Business Partner leads a team of finance professionals providing end-to-end finance services to a business unit of the University through:

- financial planning
- budgeting, forecasting and reporting
- financial analysis and decision support
- general accounting across all funding sources.

As a confident leader, you and your team will engage directly with the business area to provide insightful analysis and expert advice, giving key stakeholders confidence to make financial decisions. At UNSW you’ll be trusted to work autonomously to shape and deliver a high-quality function for your business area.

You will also be part of the broader Finance Senior Leadership team, contributing your experience and skills to enhancing Finance's performance and reputation, including enterprise-wide projects within our remit.

Finance Business Partners report directly to the Head of Finance Business Partnering and have a Finance Manager as a direct report and manages a team of Analysts indirectly.

**Who you are**
You are dynamic CA/CPA/CIMA qualified leader, with exceptional interpersonal and communication skills who is consistently displaying a willingness to lead and guide your team all whilst providing strategic financial advice in a complex organisation. The key to being successful in this role will be the strong relationships you build within your team and the stakeholders around you, balancing the pressures of the business unit alongside the enterprise fiduciary responsibility.
