**Description**:
About the Role

The Dental Technician will provide a range of dental technology services from assisting the Dentist through to expert knowledge in the area of dental prostheses construction. Furthermore, the Technician will complete professional manufacturing of a variety of dental cosmetic and prosthetic products and educate patients in hygiene practices relating to denture prostheses.

Duties
- Ability to work in a team environment with prosthetists.
- Ability to complete all aspects of acrylic work, including chrome.
- Ability to design and fabricate using 3D shape Digital systems.
- Be able to fabricate bite blocks and trays.
- Be able to fabricate denture try ins.
- Be able to fabricate and Finnish dentures.
- Manufacture mouth guards.

- Annual salary inclusive of the benefits of not-for-profit salary packaging equivalent to $74,622, plus super. **Skills and Experiences**:
Covid-19 requirements
- Immunisation history showing you have received two doses of a Covid 19 vaccine.

Required
- Diploma of Dental Technology or equivalent.
- At least 3 years’ experience as a Dental Technician.
- Demonstrated ability to meet targets and performance outcomes.
- Ability to support a continuous improvement model for achieving outcomes.
- Decisive listening, influencing and persuasive skills.
- Working with Children’s Card (Blue Card) or be eligible to apply.
- Disability Worker Screening Card (Yellow Card) or be eligible to apply.
- Current National Police Check.

**Desirable, but not mandatory**:
Previous experience working with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people.
