These are Full time positions. As a Plumbing apprentice you will undertake a Certificate 3 in Plumbing, this is a 4 year apprenticeship.

The main role of a Plumbing Apprentice is to install, maintain and repair pipes, drains, cladding, mechanical services and related equipment for water supply, gas, drainage, sewage, heating and cooling, and other systems. You may also:

- Install and adjust water service controls and devices
- Read plans and specifications to calculate plumbing quantities.
- Locating, identifying and fixing leaks
- Weld using oxy-acetylene equipment
- Flash penetrations through roofs and walls
- Fit off and commission heated and cold water services
- Cut and install new pipes
- Install refrigeration and air conditioning plant equipment
- Recover, pressure test, evacuate, charge and leak test systems
- Fabricate and install steel pressure piping
- Fabricate and install roof drainage components

To be considered for a Plumbing Apprenticeship the following is required:

- Satisfactorily pass a pre-employment medical
- A willingness to develop skills and knowledge in this trade
- Be punctual and have a good work ethic
- Hold a current drivers licence and be willing to travel
- White Card (or be willing to obtain prior to starting)
- Ability to follow instructions and communicate effectively
- Hard Worker

**Salary**: From $26,000.00 per year

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday
- On call
- Weekend availability
