The Role
Under the supervision of the HO Demand Planning & Customer Service, this role will work in partnership with Commercial Managers and the Marketing team to provide accurate demand forecasts and bias targets to enable informed decision making. This role is a key stakeholder in the McCormick IBP process across our Clayton & Palmwoods Manufacturing site and Moorabbin Warehouse.
Resposibilities;
Monitoring and analysis of the rolling forecast for Consumer, Foodservice & Flavour Solutions and assist Head of Demand & Customer Service Manager in the management of the forecasts in Blueshift to improve forecast accuracy including NPD
Managing DFU and model algorithm parameters and assist in entering in manual forecast provided by customers or sales managers accurately & in a timely manner
Develop and maintain reports to support cross-functional stakeholders for all forecast Blueshift reports and analysis
Compile and develop reports to help inform business decisions
Compile Monthly Demand Deck for IBP Demand Meetings
Champion the tactical S&OP with supply planning/purchasing and negotiate solutions to meet customer demand needs whilst minimising the financial impact to the business
Champion and manage finished goods shelf-life reporting analysis across all divisions
About You
BSc in Business/Manufacturing
Certification in APICS would be highly regarded
3-5 years in a similar role in FMCG
Ability to build robust relationships across the business at all levels
Strong problem-solving skills
The ability to drive the right outcomes for the business through your effective influence skills
