**About the Role**
The Road Development Lead role develops and submit pavement resurfacing, pavement rehabilitation and pavement marking programs by engaging in project management and risk management to co-ordinate the planning, work scheduling and resource management in accordance with relevant policies and toolkits. Communicate with internal and external stakeholders to educate, influence and negotiate ensuring project proposals consider the needs of all stakeholders and are developed within corporate guidelines and timeframes.

**Position Outcomes / Accountabilities**
Communication with internal and external stakeholders is a key part of the role, requiring the Road Development Lead to educate, influence, and negotiate to ensure project proposals meet stakeholders' needs and are developed within corporate guidelines and timeframes. They will contribute to fostering a team culture of innovation and continuous improvement, supporting the management team in designing and implementing initiatives that enhance team capabilities, particularly in road maintenance and restoration. Additionally, the Road Development Lead will promote and support safe, inclusive, and flexible team operations.

**Qualifications and Experience**
**Mandatory**
- Experience in developing road maintenance program / delivering road maintenance or similar infrastructure projects.
**Desirable**
- A relevant tertiary degree in engineering, project management or significant and equivalent experience.
