**About the role**:
Key areas of responsibility:
**Risk Management**
- Ensure a robust risk management framework is updated, managed, embedded
- Lead the risk management strategy and framework
- Support the General Manager (GM) with the development of a healthy risk culture within all business areas
- Ensure that the organisation meets its legal and regulatory risk requirements
- Ensure risk registers are updated and maintained, as well as any actions are regularly addressed.
- Attend and prepare papers for the Risk Committee

**Governance Management**
- Implement a Corporate Governance Framework
- Ensure a robust governance framework is updated, managed, embedded
- Support the GM with administration of the framework, including clarity of roles and responsibilities across all roles of the organisation
- Manage and review the policy schedule and work collaboratively with senior management
- Maintain currency of policies and procedures aligned with relative legislative requirements.

**Continuous Improvement and Innovation**
- Execute Life Care continuous improvement culture to ensure the best use of resources to assist in streamlined management of quality and risk
- Drive initiatives to create a positive approach to risk and decision-making

**About you**
- Demonstrated experience within Governance and Risk management.
- Experience in linking and collaborating with diverse stakeholders.
- Demonstrated experience in policy governance.
- Minimum bachelor’s degree in business administration, business risk management, or related fields
- Current National Police Check (Aged Care/Vulnerable People)
