**Description**

As Baggage Handler, you will work closely with your team to ensure efficient delivery and transport of luggage from the aircraft to the carousel, but this is just the beginning. You will perform a range of duties including but not limited to:

- Baggage handling - loading and unloading planes and loading the conveyor belts - you will be doing repetitive movements, moving baggage from one place to another
- Tug Driving - Aircraft push back
- Quality Assurance, ensuring items are collected and distributed to the correct location
- Ground Handling
- General Aircraft cleaning to ensure every aircraft is presentable for the next group of travellers

The hourly rates are; Weekday - $26.27 / Saturday - $35.57 / Sunday - $49.80 / Public Holiday - $52.48. There is also 20% loading for night shifts from 12 am to 6 am.

**Full Availability is Required **and Shifts vary from a minimum of 4 hours to a maximum of 12 hours per day. - Flexibility will be required as rostered hours vary across morning, afternoon, and evening shifts.

**Profile**

To be considered for this position, you must have the following
- Valid **Australian driver's licence (probationary or full)**:

- Provide 100 points of identification (Drivers licence and Birth certificate or Passport)
- Full Covid-19 vaccination status (2 doses)
- Physically fit as you will lift up to 32kg
- Be physically able to do repetitive motions for long periods
- Possess full working rights in Australia and New Zealand Citizen and PR (155 and 189 visa's only)
- Be focused on delivering exceptional and safe service
- Engaging and effective team player

To progress to the interview and final selection stage, all applicants must complete the following. **The good news is these will all be paid for by our client**
- Undertake and pass a Drug and Alcohol assessment
- Undertake the Dangerous Goods course
