**The position**
- Management of the day-to-day logistics operations of our site
- Plan and oversee communication of the loading schedule and associated activities to all internal and external stakeholders to ensure plant operation is optimised and supported on a daily basis
- Coordinate the interaction between maintenance and Logistics activities effectively
- Build and maintain relationships with all parties including fostering a culture of responsiveness and accountability. Experience in people management is key.
- Liaise closely with internal and external stakeholders to minimise issues and timely rectification of any issues that do occur
- Provide training and feedback to drivers
- Safely lead all work ensuring the safety and well-being of you and your team
- Provide analytical support; provide data and reports to ensure supply accuracy and support and resolving any issues in relation to policy or procedure.

**Your skills and experience**
- At least 2 years’ experience in a supervisory role - mainly Logistics
- Exposure to and knowledge of comprehensive safety management systems
- Demonstrate excellent people management skills
- Moderate experience within the manufacturing/waste and recycling industries desirable
- Knowledge of HSE and environmental legislation and the ability to work independently
