**The Role**
Based in Pakenham, the role of the Material Planner is to manage the RM/PKG requirements in support of the Master Supply Plan and Inventory Plan, ensuring that inventories are accurate and do not exceed the limits set by the Inventory Policy. Reporting to the Supply Planning Manager, your responsibilities will include but not be limited to;
- Minimise changes to the production plan regarding RM/PKG
- Collaborate with the Production Planner to address schedule changes and anticipated delays.
- Oversee and manage purchase orders effectively.
- Work with Inward Logistics to schedule timely deliveries within the week.
- Present performance data in schedule meetings and gain consensus on schedule firming.
- Develop strategies for material and product changes to minimise costs and supply chain impacts.
- Prepare, communicate, and monitor depletion plans for affected raw materials and packaging.
- Maintain system data standards, including MRP settings and BOMs.
- Collect and report on supplier DIFOT results (Target 90%), identifying root causes of misses and corrective actions.
- Reduce inventory coverage, material out-of-stocks, and SLOBs.
- Work with suppliers on initiatives to reduce lead times, MOQs, and increase purchasing frequency in line with usage patterns.

**The Person**
To be successful in this role you will have demonstrated experience in Materials Planning, ideally within the food FMCG space as well as;
- Have a degree in Business/Commerce or similar nature.
- Relevant experience in materials planning or food manufacturing.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills (verbal and written)
- High levels of attention to detail
- Effective problem-solving abilities
- Collaborative and adaptable approach
- Knowledge of ERP systems (M3, SAP)
- Experience with data warehouse tools (e.g
- COGNOS)
- The core hours are 9am - 5pm during non-daylight-saving hours and 10am - 6pm during daylight saving hours to cater to Perth times. _
- In this role, WFH for 1 day is offered, however will be granted once the successful applicant is proficient in all processes. _
- Travel to Perth is also required pending business needs._
