Brunswick, Australia Makeshift Coffee Roasters Full time

Location: Brunswick
/Part-time

**Responsibilities**:

- Prepare and serve high
- Demonstrate a deep knowledge of coffee origins, brewing techniques, and flavor profiles to help customers choose the perfect k
- Consistently maintain high standards of cleanliness and organization in the coffee bar and the surrounding areas
- Provide excellent customer service by engaging with customers, answering questions, and making recommendations
- Operate and maintain coffee equipment, including espresso machines, grinders, and brewers
- Accurately handle cash and credit card transactions, and maintain accurate cash register records
- Assist with inventory management, including ordering supplies and monitoring stock levels
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure a seamless customer experience
- Maintain knowledge of food safety standards and follow proper food handling procedures
- Participate in training programs and ongoing education to stay up-to-date with the latest coffee trends and techniques

Qualifications:

- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience as a specialty coffee barista
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and maintain attention to detail
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills
- Willing to learn basic food preparation, such as toasties and cooking bacon and egg rolls.
