Dressmaker

**We are looking for a bridal dressmaker to join our Greystanes Team.**

**Applications must have the following skills**
- **Industrial sewing experience**:

- **Eager and willing to learn**
- **A passion to work** for high end, best quality, Australian design dresses, and a desire to be part of a small, passionate team
- **Machining experience**, experience with bridal dresses, silks and embellishments is a plus
- Good communication skills **(You must speak English fluently)**:

- An incredible work ethic
- A positive attitude
- Strong attention to detail, and exceptional organization and time management skills
- Fast at work and reliable in caring for small details
- Sewing, dressmaking, machining, or alterations experience
- Confidence using industrial sewing machines and equipment

**MAJOR DAILY RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Constructing complete gowns: Corsets, Bodices, Ballgown Skirts, Petticoats
- Machining alterations

**OCCASIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Cutting of gowns
- Hand finishing dresses once machining work is complete
- Quality checks

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $70,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year

Expected hours: 20 - 40 per week

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift

**Experience**:

- dressmaking: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- Driver Licence (preferred)

Work Authorisation:

- Australia (required)
