Our client located in the Archerfield area is seeking an experience Machine Operators / Mechanical Trade Assistants to assist their tradepeople at their manufacturing facility. These roles are permanent roles, direct with the client and commencing as soon as possible.

These roles will be responsible for the maintenance and optimisation of all production tools, plant and equipment to a quality standard that enables maximum production levels to be sustained throughout the plant. The objective is to constantly work toward delivering zero production downtime. These positions make significant contributions to the efficiency of the plant and production output.

Reporting to the Maintenance Manager the objectives your role will include.
- Installing and setting up thermoforming tools to make plastics packaging products
- Perform repairs and maintenance to tools, machinery and equipment
- Perform preventative maintenance
- Workshop duties
- Improving the reliability of equipment and preventative maintenance
- Troubleshooting and Root Cause Analysis
- Mechanical aptitude
- Track record in process improvement
- Experience in a manufacturing environment desirable
- Forklift license advantageous
- Self-starter with the ability to work independently on improvement projects
- Ability to work days and afternoons
