**The Business**

CSG Talent is engaged with a highly reputable multi-disciplinary consultancy with an ever growing focus around sustainable design and construction. The business itself has over 400 employees with an excellent employee average tenure. The ESD team is growing substantially and has over 21 people in two locations, with plans to open teams in some other locations across Australia in the coming months.

**ESD Consultant Role**:
You will report into the Sustainability Team Leader/Director whilst working alongside him and the wider team on ESD projects either across NSW or Melbourne. The combined time across both locations stands at 21 people currently, with plans to grow a lot more over the coming years. This is an ideal opportunity for an experienced ESD consultant who might have an eye on management in the near future.

**ESD Consultant Duties**:

- Conduct energy assessments and provide recommendations for energy-efficient solutions.
- Conduct sustainability assessments and provide recommendations for sustainable building practices.
- Develop and implement sustainability strategies and action plans for clients.
- Provide technical expertise on sustainable building design and construction.
- Keep up-to-date with the latest industry standards, regulations and trends in ESD.
- Collaborate with other consultants, architects and engineers to deliver high-quality projects.

**ESD Consultant Qualifications and Experience**:

- A degree in engineering, environmental science, sustainability or a related field.
- Minimum of 6 years' experience in a similar role.
- Understanding of Green Star rating tools with experience delivering various Green Star projects.
- Greenstar accreditation or working towards.
- NABERS accreditation (desired)
- Strong knowledge of ESD principles and sustainable building practices.
- A working knowledge of other sustainability rating tools.
- Sound understanding of sustainability compliance measures.
- Experience using IES and/or DesignBuilder.
