At **Mentem**, we have developed a new and innovative approach to the development of high-quality learning content. Given our mission, the ability to scale learning content, to multiple enterprise clients and thousands of learners while maintaining quality is critical to our success.

Our process involves the following steps:

- Subject Matter Expert content writing
- Instructional / learning design
- Digital production
- Delivery

Quality assurance is embedded throughout the process.

**Mentem** is experiencing an increasing demand for data analytics learning programs. The programs range from foundational to advanced, catering to a diverse range of target learners at Mentem’s clients. Mentem’s programs cater for learners with little to no data experience to learners with significant industry experience and formal data qualifications who need to update their skills.

Reporting to the Learning Director, the Mentem Subject Matter Expert (SME) - Data will plays a critical role across all stages of the learning development and delivery process. The role of the Mentem SME - Data is to oversee the academic integrity, rigour and quality of Mentem’s data programs. The Mentem SME - Data, will ensure that content developed by different SMEs integrates seamlessly into an overarching program architecture to ensure the learner experience is optimised. The Mentem SME - Data will also develop learning content, assessment and live session plans.

The Mentem SME - Data will develop an in depth understanding of Mentem's catalogue of data content. This understanding will enable reuse of Mentem's content to meet the needs of multiple customers.

Mentem’s reputation as a learning provider and the quality of Mentem’s learning content is highly dependent on the work of Mentem SMEs.

The Mentem SME - Data is initially a 12 month full-time contract, with the opportunity to convert to permanent.
**Qualifications**
- University degree in data analytics, data science or equivalent with relevant work experience.
- Experience working as a data analyst / scientist within a commercial environment - experience in the finance industry will be highly regarded.
- Proven expertise in managing teams to successfully meet required outcomes, standards and deadlines.
- Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrable success in fostering and managing complex relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Demonstrated experience in resolving complex problems as they arise in a client focused environment.
- A commitment to innovation, and ability to adopt new ways of working.
- Strong attention to detail and willingness to follow established processes with the ability to identify improvement opportunities
- A ‘whatever it takes’ attitude to getting work done and an ability to self manage workload to meet deadlines

**Bonus points for**
- Proven track record working with corporate and/or government clients to develop and deliver data analytics/science learning skill building programs.
- Experience working in a startup product company

**Additional Information**
We operate on a hybrid working model with 2 days in the office (Tuesdays and Thursdays)
