PERSOLKELLY has partnered with a government organisation seeking a Circular Economy Education Officer.

**What you will do**:

- Research and develop, implement, coordinate and review resource recovery community awareness and education projects.
- Establish new community initiatives for Waste Minimisation and projects by way of developing educational plans and programs.
- Innovate - co-design - deliver - assess waste minimisation and recycling practices.
- Facilitate and assist the department, with innovative Circular Economy initiatives.
- Assist in the development of policies relating to waste management.
- Ensure waste education material and communications are fully compliant with all relevant legislation and policies.

**What you may bring**:

- Experience in preparing community engagement or educational reports and proposals.
- Experience in the delivery of education and community programs.
- Knowledge of principles, practices and activities pertaining to:

- Resource recovery and circular economy.
- Waste minimisation management.
- Sustainability.
- Local Government operations and procedures as well as the local community itself.
- The Waste Avoidance and Resource Recovery Strategy 2030,
- Able to obtain a clear NPC and WWC check.
- C Class Drivers Licence.
