About the role

Blackburn Public Surgical Centre, situated in Blackburn, is currently seeking a suitably experienced Theatre Technician to join the professional and organised team on a permanent basis.

The Unit will consist of 4 theatres within the Blackburn campus and forms part of the wider Eastern Health Surgical Program. Theatre lists include a variety of surgical specialities, including general surgery, gynaecology and colorectal.

Vaccination against infectious disease is a mandatory requirement of this role. An offer of employment is conditional on you providing evidence that you are currently vaccinated against COVID-19 with booster & Influenza, prior to commencing employment.

Selection Criteria
**Essential**: Hold a certificate IV in Health Service Assistance Operating Theatre Technical Support
**Essential**: Currently completed 12+months clinical experience working as a Theatre Technician
**Essential**: Provide current line manager as a Reference
