**Nursery Hand - General Duties**

Our Client is looking for a motivated Nursery Hand to join the team. Based in the Gold Coast area and with real potential to grow within the company.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Selecting and picking plants for orders
- Preparing plants for dispatch
- Pruning, staking, fertilizing and weeding plants
- Cleaning and blocking Nursery Beds
- Potting up of plants

**Key Attributes**:

- Be fit and healthy (this is a physically demanding role)
- Willing to work as part of an all-weathers, outdoor Team environment
- Follows directions easily
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Self-motivated with initiative to take action
- Eye for detail with plant maintenance and presentation
- Must have reliable transport
- Some Plant knowledge and experience with nursery machinery a must
- Spray Ticket an advantage but not required
- Fork Lift ticket and advantage but not required

**Benefits**:

- Weekly pay
- Pay rate is dependant on experience + super + allowances
