**About the Role**:
We currently have an opportunity for a Cable Jointer to join our team located at the Ballarat Depot.

As a Cable Jointer, you will carry out all functions associated with construction, maintenance, servicing, fault and emergency restoration of CitiPower/Powercor’s underground electricity distribution system.

You are expected to meet the company’s customer service objectives of providing safe, reliable, timely and cost-effective supply of electricity and associated services.

To qualify you will possess a strong Health and Safety culture and hold a current Victorian Driver’s Licence.

Note - Incumbents may be required to undertake rostered out of hours faults duties.
- Qualification of a Certificate III ESI Distribution Cable Jointing (mandatory)
- Heavy Vehicle Licence (optional)
- Switching training / authority (optional)

**Pre-Employment**
- **Medical**: Applicants will be required to undergo a pre-employment medical examination (which includes hearing test, colour blindness and physical examination) and relevant drug and alcohol test, to assess fitness for work.
