**The Role**:
As a Store Manager, you will play a crucial role in shaping the in-store experience and maintaining the high standards that Daiso is known for. This position calls for a proactive approach to management, team leadership, and a dedication to fostering a welcoming shopping atmosphere. You will manage and oversee the daily store operations and contribute to the overall atmosphere and customer satisfaction, ensuring that Daiso continues to be a preferred shopping destination.

**Responsibilities**:

- Maintain daily store operations by implementing and adhering to business processes and procedures with a spirited approach that motivates and inspires the team.
- Leading and inspiring the team to meet all financial and performance KPIs and ensuring all reporting requirements are met on time.
- Recruit, train, mentor and develop a high-performing store team that provides exceptional customer service and embodies the Daiso culture.
- Oversee daily store operations, including rostering and timesheets, and ensure compliance with company policies.
- Manage store inventory, merchandising, and visual standards to ensure a delightful shopping experience that keeps customers returning.
- Uphold store presentation and visual merchandising standards are met consistently according to company guidelines and elevate the shopping environment.
- Ensure that the health and safety regulations and the company’s policies and procedures are followed.

**Qualifications**:

- Previous experience as a Store Manager within a retail setting, preferably in high-volume environments, with a minimum of 2 years.
- Strong leadership and people management skills.
- Excellent communication, organisational and multitasking skills.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and decision-making.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
- Passion for retail and a strong commitment to customer service.
- Undertake staffing responsibilities, including recruitment, training, and development.
