**About the Company**

Davidson are currently working with a state government client who are seeking experienced Assessors.

**About the Role**

Our government client has an immediate need for OO6 & OO7 Assessors (Value for Money).

As the VFM Assessor you will be supporting the Senior Project Manager with the delivery of home assessment activities for the Resilient Homes Fund Program. In this role you will be responsible for estimating pricing for work that is identified as part of the home assessment. This role would suit someone who has experience in roles such as estimators or building supervisors.

**About You**
- In-depth knowledge and expertise in build materials, practices, building costs, building scope, and building processes.
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal, as you will be responsible for regular interactions with homeowners and builders.
- Demonstrated experience leading and supervising the teams, providing guidance, support, and mentorship to team members. Must have strong people management skills.
- Demonstrated experience in conducting reviews and assessments of employee’s work. Analysing and evaluation progress is essential to maintain the highest standards.
- Expert in handling homeowner interactions with tact and empathy, de-escalating tense situations with composure. Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills are crucial in this role.
- Must be able to work predominantly in the office.

**The Benefits**
- $54.45 - $59.96 per hour + Super (PAYG)
