**About the Role**
- As a Café Attendant, you will assist in the daily operations of our hospital cafe.
- This will involve preparation and selling of coffee, tea and other beverages along with basic food preparation in a prompt, friendly and efficient manner.
- To ensure our high-quality standards are maintained, this role will see you responsible for maintaining cleanliness in line with required food safety, infection control and hospital standards.

**Your duties will also include**:

- Distribution/collection of customer menus, food trays, beverages as well as basic food preparation
- Cleaning and sanitising workstations and food court areas;
- Providing fast, friendly and exceptional customer service;
- Display a strong level of team commitment whilst also having the ability to work autonomously where required;
**About You**

To succeed in this role, you will be prior experience in a similar role. You will demonstrate the ability to work effectively in a team or independently as required, within a fast-paced café environment. Your ability to prioritise tasks effectively will assist with your excellent time management skills.

**You will also bring**
- Completion of a TAFE plus statement Barista course or equivalent from a recognised institute with experience working as a Barista
- Experience in food and beverage preparation
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability and flexibility to work a variety of shifts on a rotating roster
- Cash handling experience
- Experience in the health care industry (Desired)

**Requirements**:
