Painting Supervisor

Due to continued growth, we are currently looking for a driven & capable Painting Supervisor who has the ability to build relationships across the board and has previous experience in the commercial Construction industry.

You will be joining our team where you will have the opportunity to work on and execute several exciting projects across Southeast Queensland.

The work is varied, and you will get exposure to Residential, Commercial, Aged Care, Health, Education, Food and Processing, Hotels and Student Residences, Industrial and Retirement projects. We have developed specialised teams to work on exciting projects valued anywhere between $5M - $100M.

**Duties**:

- Working with key stakeholders to price and schedule works
- Ensuring that each project is completed within budget, on time and in accordance with contract requirements and safety standards.
- Reporting including project budget, costs on site, variations, payment schedules and all mandatory reporting.
- Working closely with key stakeholders to mitigate risk, plan resourcing and programme.
- Communicate effectively with site teams and internal teams to understand project specifications and deliverables.
- Management and procurement of painting supplies and materials.
- Manage, mentor, and grow a team of inexperienced and experienced painters.

**What we are looking for**:

- Commercial Painting experience is preferred; however, the right residential experience will be considered.
- Practical experience in the building and construction industry
- Ability to read and interpret plans.
- Proven leadership abilities and ability to lead by example.
- Safety focused not only for yourself but also for your team.
- Conscientious, motivated and an extreme eye for detail
- Have strong communication skills.
- Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transport, as travel is required throughout the region.
- Construction White Card or the ability to obtain.
- Driven in progressing your career further.
