**about the organisation**

people2people are partnering with a Not-For-Profit organisation, based in Windsor who provide a broad range of disability and support services. Due to internal movement, they are now seeking an experienced Intake Officer to join their team for a 2-month contract period with scope for extension. **about the role**

Duties will include:

- Managing centralised intake process from initial inquiries
- Meet with clients to understand needs and goals and assess their requirements to determine eligibility
- Develop support plans for clients consistent with NDIS plans
- Assist and build positive customer relationships supporting each client to understand NDIS plans
- Liaise with Finance and Operations to develop appropriate quotes that meet the needs of potential
- Facilitate initial support assessments
- Liaise with Team Leaders around actioning new client services to ensure positive intake and commencement of service delivery
- Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to ensure successful facilitation of NDIS plans and support client outcomes

**about you**
- Demonstrated experience working in an Intake Officer role
- Strong understanding of the NDIS funding framework and disability services
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
- Approach all situations using sensitivity and a welcoming & inclusive attitude
- Committed to achieving results
- Available to commence ASAP
- Double vaccinated - COVID 19
- Current Blue and Yellow Card
- Valid Drivers Licence
