**ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY**:
The Information Services team is committed to providing high quality service to all stakeholders who include our Community, our Executive, the Leadership Group and all Council staff. The team provides timely and accurate advice, and utilises better practice methods and procedures and continuous improvement methodologies while developing new and innovative solutions to problems in a consultative and customer focused manner.

Our Information Services team is is looking for a motivated and passionate person who will be responsible for administration activities such as procurement, minute taking, ECM and P&R request resolution as well as auditing and cleansing of customer name and address data created and maintained by staff across the organisation.

Reporting to the Senior Coordinator Information Systems, this role will working closely with Council’s Business Systems Administrators, to ensure the relevant system training manuals are kept up to date with ongoing changes made to business processes and NAR system functions. The incumbent will maintain a high standard of accuracy whilst delivering excellent customer service.

The successful applicant will require:

- Relevant tertiary qualifications (TAFE level) in Business Administration and/or considerable experience (minimum 5 years)
- Demonstrated analytical, conceptual and problem solving skills with a high degree of initiative, accuracy and flexibility
- Behaviour that demonstrates Council’s values
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to communicate with a range of stakeholders
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook including spreadsheets and databases.
- Class C drivers licence

**Position information**: This is a permanent full-time position, working a 70 hour fortnight, with access to Council's 9 day fortnight Accrued Day Off (ADO) arrangement.

The role is predominantly located at Council's Merrylands office, with occasional travel across Council worksites and may be required to work across any of Council’s work locations.

**Salary information**: The salary and conditions of employment are in accordance with the NSW Local Government (State) Award.
- Grade 7 of the Cumberland Salary Structure with a salary range of $1,214.97 to $1,397.22 per week, plus 11% superannuation
- The commencing salary will be negotiated, taking into consideration the successful applicant's qualifications, skills and experience related to the role
