Singing Teacher

You need to be available to work one or more of:
- Monday afternoons - evenings
- Tuesday afternoons - evenings
- Friday afternoons - evenings
In addition to private lessons, there may be opportunity to teach an ensemble class in our Academy Program for high school students.
We’re looking for a warm, dedicated individual to give our students confidence as performers - someone with a particular passion for igniting a love for singing and performing.
For this role, we are looking for a dynamic recent graduate of Voice or Performance with:
- A strong understanding of vocal health and use
- Ability to diagnose and correct students’ singing technique
- Ability to bring out the ‘actor’ in each singer for a stronger performance
- An encouraging, positive approach to teaching and learning
- Willingness to work with young children as well as a smaller number of adults
- Willingness to deliver a high quality service, and to self-educate as needed to improve your capacity in the role
- A Working With Children and Vulnerable People card
- Willingness to commit to working in the after-school early evening timeslot
- Willingness to assist with arrangements for concerts and other performances.
