**About the role**

As an ALH Compliance Specialist, you will be responsible for assisting the Compliance Manager and the business in maintaining and enhancing ALH’s compliance frameworks, systems and processes.
Reporting to the Compliance Manager and working closely with key stakeholders across the business and our AML Team, this role will provide compliance support to the business focused on AML, RSG, gaming, liquor, food safety and compliance with ALH policies, procedures and key agreements. The key responsibilities of this role include:

- Review and maintenance of compliance materials, including training documentation and internal communications to ensure obligations/responsibilities are accurately understood and communicated across the business
- Oversee and manage compliance controls development, testing and reporting
- In close consultation with Group Services at Endeavour Group Limited, investigation of incidents / breaches and drafting of breach reports
- In close consultation with the business, analyse existing business practices, policies, processes, and procedures to identify where process improvements, simplifications and enhancements can be made
- Assist in the implementation of ALH’s AML/CTF Program
- Assist in the preparation of Board reporting and Board Pack compilation
- Provide input into the development of training presentations
- Assist in the implementation of updated regulatory guidance from regulators
- Assist with various compliance projects that arise from time to time
- Provide input and feedback for continual improvement of compliance processes
- Liaising with Internal Auditors and providing requested documentation

**About you**

You’ll have demonstrated experience in a compliance function role within a retail, gaming/wagering or financial services environment. Experience in a multi-jurisdictional environment will be a bonus
To be successful, you’ll also have:

- Bachelor’s Degree in appropriate field of study.
- Equivalent work experience.
- Demonstrated ability to establish and maintain strong relationships.
- Ability to continuously explore new ways to understand and deliver on changing customer needs.
- Stakeholder management skills to build and foster positive relationships.
- Strong initiative, time management and exceptional communication skills.
